How to back up Address Book Mac OS | iMac When upgrading your Mac OS System you need to save your contacts as VCards 1. Open your Address Book 2. Click Edit --> Select All 3. Press the Apple Key and hold 4. Drag the contacts into a folder or your desktop Copy the folder to your new system and do the opposite 1. Open the folder containing the VCard Files 2.
