Cannot Access Task Manager Cannot Access Task manager when pressing alt, ctrl and delete keys. This can be caused by spyware or trojans which have now been removed. Make sure you use your Anti Virus to remove all malicious registry entries and software, then try doing the following:- 1. Click "Start" 2. Click "Run" 3. Enter "REG add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v DisableTaskMgr /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f" N.B. This must all go on one line 4. Click "OK" 5.
